25) Wonder Woman
Some fresh takes on characters have failed in new 52 but some have passed in flying colours and this one is one of them.Having great writing and beautiful art replacing dumb 3rd rate villains with gods is another big important this series makes."We're constantly told she belongs next to Superman and Batman, but we rarely see that potential reached. With Azzarello and Chiang's new series, Wonder Woman is standing atop Mount Olympus and we're loving it” from ign.
24) Swamp Thing
It’s hard to make something after someone like Alan Moore made what your writing into masterpiece but Scott Snyder and Yanick Paquette did it with amazing art and writing while taking history about Swamp thing but still making it great for newcomers. The story is creppy and art adds to it greatly making it one best books at DC.
23) Batwoman
This is only ongoing book that could have no writing what so ever but would still be worth the 3$.J.H. Williams III shows that his art is best on market nothing even comes close but the flash series but this series no panel is ever wasted. The writing is as good as Greg Rucka but it’s still decent and with art this good it’s ok if the story isn’t.
22) The Walking Dead
“2011 saw Rick Grimes and his dwindling band of allies settle into their new home at the community. And when the zombie hordes invaded, Rick and friends managed to hold the line and avoid another repeat of Woodbury. It was a year of triumphs and tragedies for the characters. And through it all, the quality of the book has remained consistent.
We don't expect the franchise's momentum to slow anytime soon. Between the recent Rise of the Governor spinoff, the return of the TV show in early 2012, and the continued popularity of the comic and its various collected editions, the Walking Dead will continue to dominate the stands.” from ign
21) The Unwritten
The interplay between fiction and reality, and the exploration of what a story is and can do, make 'The Unwritten' an intriguing and rewarding read every month. This is actually the last book I read in my weekly stack, as it's one I want to spend some time with -- Carey and Gross reward a close reading."
