In the trailer we see Sora about to fight Clu. Sora brings out his keyblade when he has a Game Disc. In the movie, you fight with the disc. Why would Sora used the Keyblade instead of the disc?

You're asking whether a person should fight with a sword or a frisbee.
Think about it, even in KH terms. When it was Axel against Roxas, or a disc object against a sword, who won?

Well Clu has a Disc so it would make it more of a fair fight like in the movie.

Fair? Who cares about fairness? Obviously Sora doesn't. When has life ever been fair to him?! Why should he have to play the good guy all the time and make sure he's fighting fair?

It would probably be just like playing as Axel in KH Days, except we can't control fire. And there may be a button we can press to use it. Like the triangle button for the whole of KH2.
