I seriously doubt such a law will pass since it goes against the first amendment. I'm not worried.

Here we go again with the long posts *rolls eyes*. Anyway, I'm sure this is not true. If it is true than I'm sure a Civil War 2 would start in America.

I live In Europe, so not worried.
But that sucks, a lot of people use the Internet on the U.S.A, mostly Facebook.

The only thing I have to say is that if the government bans the internet, I will personally kill them all.

I doubt it'll pass. I think both Democrats and Republicans would be against it, and none of the House members or Senators would want to get heat for their vote. If it does... I'll get a Japanese computer with a Japanese IP card. Not sure it'll work (I haven't looked it up before), but I've always wanted a Japanese computer x3

It has failed I believe because no American wants the internet that restricted. Parents might want somethings but not a lot.

There is a Senator that plans on filibustering the SOPA and PIPA bills. Senator Wyden from Oregon is going to read off every name of every single person who opposed the bills on the Senate floor which could take hours to do. Some of you may be wondering about the term filibustering? On dumbed-down terms it means someone stands up and says shit to waste time in a debate? I'm pretty sure.... :U

anyways if you yourself want to be on this list go here: http://stopcensorship.org/

The big issue is that they're capable of shutting down methods of payment to the website.

Which would mean any website based in the US(Maybe even outside of, but the us? for sure.)

Now go look up how many of your favorite websites are based in the us.

Moving to Canada or getting foreign computers won't solve anything, or very little.

If this bill gets passed, (which I seriously don't see how it will) then I'll be moving to Japan.

Again. moving somewhere else won't stop american sites from being shut down by having their money cut off... I wouldn't be surprised that, if the US adopted these rules, everywhere else did, as well.
