Hello guys! I've decided to create this fanfic about Kairi's life -- although you'll find some content that is shown in the original story. This is my first Fanfic, so I hope you enjoy it! I'll update it as soon as I can

 

It'd be cool to read this while hearing Kairi's theme ~~

 

A girl named Kairi was born. She resided in a town named Radiant Garden, with her grandmother, whose duty was to take care of her little granddaughter. In the town, no one knew about what had happened with Kairi’s parents. They just knew that she lived with her Grandmother. Kairi had pretty blue eyes, and red hair. As a baby, she was very pretty, but not tall. She was very loved by her Grandmother, who couldn’t spend one second without her.

 

As she was getting older, she began to wear a while dress, which had some violet things that reassembled the letter “X”. She also wore white shoes, which had a little of pink and violet on it. She also used a white necklace, and her hair had grown -- it was around her neck. Kairi’s Grandma told her many stories, but Kairi had a favorite one : the one about light and darkness.

 

According to the story, the world was once only full of light. In that time, people loved the light. However, as time went on, people began to fight for it, because they wanted to keep it only to themselves. And, as a consequence of that, darkness was born in people’s hears. The darkness spread very quickly, and it managed to swallow people’s hearts, and even the light itself. Then, the world disappeared, but the Light would not be so easily destroyed, and so its fragments remained in the children’s hearts. Thanks to that, the World was rebuilt. But, the worlds are divided from each other, since the true light is still sleeping deep within the darkness.

 

With that story, Kairi’s Grandma wanted to tell her that she must not be frightened of the darkness, because just by believing in the Light, you will be safe from the darkness. Kairi enjoyed that story so much that she kept asking her grandma to tell it again and again.

 

Kairi is kind, gentle and respectful. She is one of the Seven Princesses of Heart, whose hearts are pure light, without a single flick of darkness. She has a strong personality, and what she likes the most to do is spend time picking flowers from the gardens around the town where she lives.

 

At the age of four, Kairi had just picked some flowers from the Garden near Ansem’s Castle, when she was attacked by some weird creatures named “Unversed”. Strangely, however, she had an ability of driving these creatures away. Frightened, Kairi began to scream, when suddenly a girl, who appeared to have eighteen years, and was carrying a weapon that reassembled a Key, appeared to rescue her. The girl seemed not to be ready to fight that big number of creatures, but thankfully, a mouse with a weapon like hers appeared to help. The girl took Kairi to a safe place, but then she immediately returned to help the Mouse.

 

It took a few minutes, but the two of them were able to destroy the creatures that were frightening the little Kairi. The Mouse was able to talk, and it told both Kairi and the girl his name -- it was Mickey. He also spoke about a man named Yen Sid, but suddenly, something began to shine, and Mickey just disappeared. Before doing, however, he said that he would meet them again soon.

 

So, now that there were only Kairi and the other girl, Kairi decided to give the flowers she had picked to her, as a symbol of how grateful she was. The other girl thanked her, and said her name was Aqua. However, just then, Kairi’s Grandma just arrived and screamed Kairi’s name. However, Aqua asked Kairi to stay just one more minute, and then she touched Kairi’s necklace, saying that she had just cast a spell on it. The spell would ensure that wherever Kairi was in danger, her own light would lead her to someone who was able to keep her safe.

 

As soon as Kairi approached her Grandmother, she asked her to tell her favorite story once more. And, loving her as much as she did, she began to tell the story one more time.

 

Kairi continued doing what she always did, like picking up flowers from the gardens near the Castle, and her life remained the same until the next year, when something very bad happened in the town she lived. In one day, she was collecting flowers, when she felt that danger was near, and her necklace began to shine. Frightened, she ran to her house as fast as she could in search of her beloved Grandmother, but she could not find her. And, to make the situation worse, when she left her house, she looked at the sky, and noticed that it was black, and not blue.

 

Then, she began to cry while running to Ansem’s Castle. However, as soon as she got there, she was kidnapped by Braig, one of Ansem’s apprentices. Kairi asked him where Ansem was, and he answered that Ansem had left their world, which was his responsibility to take care of (when in reality, Ansem had been made prisoner in the depths of the castle). He also told her that he could bring her to somewhere safe, and so he entered inside the castle with her.

 

Kairi had never entered inside the castle. It was so beautiful. But Kairi did not have time to spend looking at the rooms of the castle, because Braig held her hand and began to run to the direction of the Laboratory.

Kairi began to cry once again, because she wanted to walk by herself, so that way, she could explore the entire Castle. However, things would not go as Kairi wanted. Braig arrived in a big room, which had a big table, with exactly seven chairs. They were for Ansem and his Apprentices. Braig screamed Xehanort’s name, and moments later, he appeared to know what was occurring.

 

Braig said that the people from the city had all been captured, just like Xehanort had ordered. Now, only the special girl that was missed had been now finally found as well. So, he showed Kairi to him. With a smile in his face, Xehanort ordered Braig to put her in a cell, which was located in the depths of the Castle.

 

Hearing that, Kairi began to scream, but Xehanort used a potion he had created on her, which made her fall asleep in seconds. Then Braig gladly began to head for the prison, in where Kairi would be kept from now on -- or at least until they’ve decided what to do with her.

 

In the way to the prison, Braig met Dilan and Aeleus. They talked a little about Ansem, and the effects of the potion had met their end -- Kairi woke up during the middle of the conversation. She heard that Ansem had been trying to escape from his cell, and that they will need to do something else with him -- it was no longer safe to keep him there. Dilan then asked what Braig was going to do with the little kid -- that was how he called Kairi, who closed her eyes, to pretend that she was still sleeping. Braig replied that her destiny was still uncertain, but that for now, at least, she was going to be another prisoner of Xehanort.

 

Then, another person arrived. Since Kairi’s eyes were closed, she just heard the person’s voice. It was a man, who seemed to be using some scientific words, and so she could conclude that it was another Apprentice, but this one was the most intelligent. He smiled when Braig showed Kairi to him. He said that they can now do the experiments they couldn't do with normal people. Before he left, he told the others he was going to study harder now that Kairi had been captured.

 

Braig then said farewell to the other two and continued to walk for the prison of the Castle. When he arrived in the front of the room that lead to the Prison, he saw Ienzo, who apparently was crying. So, he asked why the little boy was so sad. Ienzo replied that he doesn’t want to see his dad in a cell, but Braig stated that Ansem is too dangerous to be free -- he could destroy their goals. Then, he left the boy alone, and said the password to open the door to the Prison.

 

The Prison was horrible. Kairi managed to open her eyes without Braig notice it, and then she saw a man sleeping -- it was Ansem the Wise -- and a lot of weird black creatures, which had a symbol of a Heart engraved on their bodies. She did not know what these creatures were, but even so, she was so frightened that she accidentally screamed, what made Braig notice that the potion’s effects had ended. However, now, it did not make any difference, because he had just arrived in Kairi’s cell. He threw her inside, what made her hurt her right arm. Before closing the cell, he smiled to her and said that she will have a wonderful time in this new house. Kairi was so sad -- not only because of her current situation, but because she was not sure about what had happened to the people she knew, and her beloved grandmother -- she wasn’t even sure if they were still alive.

I like it. I'm glad you're showing the destruction of Radiant Garden. I hope they show a flashback of that in KH3D or KHIII. But Aqua isn't fifteen. She and Terra are eighteen. Keyblade apprentices take their Mark of Mastery Exams when they come of age. Ventus is fifteen during the events of BBS. Just sayin'.

It was pretty good for your first one! I can't wait to read more. After you're done with that one you could write another one, I'd love to read it especially if you manage to squeeze Zexion in there somewhere . Also, the next fanfiction that you write or story(if you write another one), you should make it however you want. Stories usually turn out better when you're inspired. So, it would be harder to write a sad story or fanfiction when you're more inspired to write a happy one or adventurous one. But I really like your fanfiction so far =).

Then, Braig left Kairi alone in her cell and went to talk with Xehanort once again. Braig asked Xehanort what was so special about that little child, and why couldn’t they just do the normal experiments like they were doing in everyone else. Xehanort said that it was only a theory, but he believed that the girl was one of the Legendary Seven Princesses of Heart, and explained everything about these seven maidens of the pure hearts.

 

Braig then told him that, one year ago, he saw the little girl being surrounded by the Unversed, but that she was able to drive them away for a while, even though she ended up being rescued later by Aqua and Mickey. Xehanort stated that it was still to early to conclude anything, but that he would make a lot of experiments to see if he was right or not.

 

Then, Braig left Xehanort alone and went to his room, to take a nap until the afternoon. Meanwhile, in the door near the prison, Ienzo kept looking at Kairi, who was still crying at that moment. He was the only one who did not know the password to open the prison. Then, Even arrived and began to look at Kairi. Being a scientist like him, he could only thought of the further experiments he would be able to do with the little kid. He noticed that Ienzo was there, and decided to take him to his room, so they could began to make more and more research about the Heart.

 

Kairi looked around, but aside from Ansem, who was currently sleeping, and the weird creatures, there was not much around there. She knew that no matter how much she cried or screamed, no one would appear and save the little girl. For her, everything was lost. No miracle could just happen and take her out of there. Her hopes were doomed. Then, in order to stop thinking about the past, and worrying about the future, she decided to sleep, despite having her right arm hurting a bit.

 

She took some time to sleep, but just the, she finally managed to fall into a deep sleep. In her dream, some pictures randomly appeared. First, she saw the people she know from the town, then it was the time of her beloved Grandmother. But then, something happened in the dream. The image of these people froze, and then Kairi could feel some pain, while the image was breaking in little pieces. When it completely faded away, Kairi saw Braig’s face, who appeared to be really happy. Before awakening, she heard a familiar voice, who told Kairi not to be afraid, because Darkness can never win from the Light.

 

Although the voice was familiar, as soon as Kairi woke up, she could not tell whose voice was that. It was not her Grandmother’s, but it was a woman’s voice. Moments after, she heard a noise, and quickly managed to identify what it was -- it was the door of the prison being opened by Braig -- who had just awoken from his nap. He was bringing some of the people Kairi knew, but they were acting weirdly. Some seemed like Zombies, and others couldn’t even speak. They only managed to say a word or two, but not make an entire sentence. Something very strange was happening.

 

Then Braig put the people on a cell, and locked it tightly. He seemed to be a little forced to do that, because he didn’t have a smile in his face. He stopped in front of Kairi’s cell and looked at her -- who was still pretending to be asleep -- and tried to find something special on her. But his efforts were meaningless, he could stay there for hours, but never find the reason for Xehanort’s interests on her.

As soon as he left the prison and locked the room by saying the Password again, Kairi opened her eyes, and screamed Ansem’s name. After doing this countless times, she finally managed to wake up the man -- who appeared to be there for quite some time. The conversation between the two of them was about to start, when Braig appeared once again, because he had heard one of Kairi’s screams. She just pretended once again to be unconscious, and so did Ansem. Then, Braig left the prison once again, while Kairi was ready to begin a long conversation with Ansem the Wise.
