When Sora and Roxas fight...

Posted

What does Roxas mean when he says "Tell me...why did he pick you?" at 2:10

I feel like I knew when I played the game but I just can't seem to remember(it's been a few years since I played it.)

That was a translation error during that scene. The correct translation is "tell me, why did it pick you". Which he is reffering to why did the keyblade choose Sora.

What he said.

Although some people have theorized he might have been referring to Ventus or Riku. o-o

I thought he was talking about Riku or about existence itself. Then he saw Sora's friends and realized that they were what made him who he is.

I do agree though, it sounds more like it should be the keyblade.

I thought he was talking about riku too!

It does make sense; why did Riku choose for Sora to live and Roxas not to.
