In Re:Coded, it was revealed that along with the Birth By Sleep heroes, Roxas, Namine, Axel, and Xion are hurting too. But aren't they all dead? Well not dead, but aren't they all with their original beings now? (except for Axel, we're not sure). And Data-Namine said it herself that the real her doesn't exist anymore. So how could they possibly be "hurting"?

I believe I read somewhere before that Xion wants to be remembered, and Namine just needs a "thank you" from Sora, though she got it from Data Sora, which may or may not count.
I wish I could provide where I read that from, but I can't remember. Something tells me it was a forum post somewhere that I agreed with... Maybe.

Axel probably just wants to see Roxas one last time.

As for Roxas... I have no idea.

This is what I believe to be the hurt of Terra, Aqua, and Ventus:

Terra wants to be freed from Xehanort.

Aqua wants to be free from the Realm of Darkness.

Ventus wants to wake up.

Those might not be correct, but they seem logical enough, as for Roxas, perhaps he wants to be with Xion and Axel?

Roxas wants his life back and Xion back. Thats why he's hurting. He said that himself when he was fighting Riku.

Well, as for Roxas, he'll probably come back as Ventus. I honestly feel the same way about Xion and Namine, I mean Roxas and Namine were all smiles at the end of Kingdom hearts 2. And Xion...grr. She probably just needs to be remembered.
Oh wait! At the end of coded, Data-Namine said that Xion and Namine would be at rest when the real Sora learned about everything that data-Sora saw and felt. So, basically, yeah, what I said above.

Well, Aqua is in the RoD trying to find a way out, Terra is somewhere deep within his own body along with MX trying to see who will control Terra's body, Ventus's heart rests within Sora waiting to return to its own body (which is Ventus), Roxas just wants to be with his friends Axel and Xion and have ice cream together with them, and Namine just wants a "Thank you" from Sora. So yeah, those are all the "torments" that these people are going through at the moment until Sora comes and saves them all from their "torment".

But Roxas is in no way connected to Ven. He only looks like Ven because he hold Ven's heart resided in Roxas's body. As for Xion, you said it yourself that she only wants to be remembered.

Well, they wouldn't truly be at rest once Data Sora passed on the news to the real Sora. Once the real Sora learned what he had to do to set things right, then he would go in and save them. That's what Namine meant by she and Xion would be at rest.

Right now there not with there original beings but, I'm pretty sure by "hurt" they meant that they were no longer with there friends or something.

Well, I think some of it is mostly for the fans. I mean maybe Roxas and namine are happy in their original selves, but I/other fans aren't XD

this is key. i think he is happy and he kinda got his happy ending. i think they showed roxas in that scene more because he is part of xion's and lea's hurt, and of course he would like to see them again as well. but he lives in sora, so i think that is how we will see him from now on.

I read somewhere that KH3 is meant to end the story for:
Roxas, Axel, Xion
Terra, Ven, Aqua
ans Sora, Riku, Kairi

If KH3 is meant to be the last game in the Xehanort saga, then im pretty sure Tetsuya isnt going to leave any loose ends in all of the storylines, not just the main one.
