35)Burnout Paradise Released:January 22, 2008
Why It Was Selected
Burnout Paradise is perhaps one of the most unique racing games ever made, in that it's set in a non-linear, open-world environment. But what interests many PlayStation 3 gamers the most is how much mileage one can get out of the game. Developer Criterion supported Burnout Paradise with a plethora of DLC, both paid and free, which went above and beyond just fixing bugs and glitches.
Favourite Memory
Burnout kept giving me great wealth of DLC.Then Burnout put Delorean from Back to the Future in game and other great cars. This game was fun but playing in Delorean is just great to ride in.
34)GTA IV Released:April 29, 2008
Why It Was Selected
Game that has an open world that was more alive than most with its comedy clubs, bars, strip clubs and so on; toss in a complex relationship network; toss in dozens of missions; and toss in a choice at the end of the game that made most of think twice about what we should do
Favorite Memory
My favourite memory is when Packie and Niko decide to rob a bank and everything goes wrong so you get your money and get heck out of there.Trying to stay life and get away from cops chasing you is my favourite memory from GTA
33)R&C:Tools of Destruction Released:October 23, 2007
Why It Was Selected
Rachet and Clank was one of Sony's biggest mascot's on PS2 so when hr was announce to come to PS3 they got one of biggest series on this console. So when is came out Visuals looked amazing one of best looking games that year. This game also improved on great Rachet and Clank gameplay.

32) Folklore Released October 9, 2007
Why It Was Selected
It was selected because it has great deal of the magnificence in Folklore comes from the little details: the serenity within a field of bristling flowers and cascading petals, or the charm of a stairway that rings with laughter when your character's foot falls upon it - these are just a few of the many moments that may bring an awed smile to your face.
Favourite Memory
Folklore provides narrative elements in abundance and conveys the game's story in a very refreshing manner. The reason that the storytelling of Folklore never gets old and don't miss your opportunity to witness the poetry and magic of this ethereal hit.
31)Super Stardust HD Released June 28, 2007
Why It Was Selected
Super Stardust HD itself is actually an upgrade to the 1994 release Super Stardust, and takes full advantage of the franchise's frantic shooter gameplay, a feature that's at the heart of what makes Super Stardust HD so good. Super Stardust HD is a decidedly hardcore title, but its appeal is also remarkably broad. Its difficult but rewarding gameplay is the stuff of PlayStation legend.
Favourite Memory
When that stunning game first came up on my display and I was suddenly showered with more particle effects than is probably healthy for one person, I was instantly in love. I made it my mission to earn a respectable high score in Stardust and I've loved every minute of it.
30)Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Released: November 5, 2007
Why It Was Selected
In late 2007, gamers met Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, and for the many of the millions upon millions who played it, it was the best first-person shooter they'd ever laid eyes (and hands) on. Developer Infinity Ward has a special knack for intertwining story and compelling, unique gameplay that puts you in the center of the action and makes you feel like you're really there.
Favourite Memory
The shocking ending of this game was so different becuase you didn't think it was going to happen.Muliplayer was great i remember at Grade 9 weekend i played it with my friends for 3-5 hours becuase there was nothing better but it was fun.
29)Demon's Souls Released:October 6, 2009
Why It Was Selected
Demon's Souls is not a game for everyone. Actually, I take that back; it's most definitely something everyone should try, but the look, seemingly unforgiving nature and themes might be a bit off-putting. Don't let them be. Every single person that owns a PS3 should at the very least rent this game to see what all the fuss is about, and those that can remember the good ol' days when games taught through the highly effective use of intense punishment and a heavy price for not playing it carefully should scoop this up instantly. It's utterly unique among the offerings on any console right now, and absolutely, positively should not be missed.
Favourite Memory
I remember playing Demon's souls for first time i thought i could get thought game without dying much i got to first boss and looked at it and frozen for about 2 seconds.Look back at my game and i was dead.So i had to try to get back souls and afraid i have no more souls anymore and game is just fun for a challenage.
Pac-Man Championship Edition DX boasts simple, addictive gameplay that will have you competing for high scores on the score boards for months. Everything that made the first game a hit is still here, accompanied by a bunch of new mazes, modes, and ghosts -- all for $10. It's hard to imagine a more perfect PlayStation Network game. This is a master class in game design: you will understand it instantly, enjoy it instantly, and want to play again and again.
Favourite Memory
My favourite memory is trying to get all ghosts combo's i again during a 5min or 10min score attack.Going into old maps changing way your pac-man visuals looks it was just love letter to any Pac-man fan.
27)Gran Turismo 5 Released: November 24, 2010
Why It Was Selected
If there's a lesson to be learned from Gran Turismo 5 (the game itself, not its epic journey to stores), it's not about braking zones, exhaust manifolds, and curve apexes -- it's about patience. Because Gran Turismo 5 contains a seemingly unending supply of driving experience to enjoy, if you just allow yourself the time to discover it.
Favourite Memory
Great game overall, it's consumed my life lately. The immense openess is amazing. You have license tests, plenty of A-Spec events from amateur to expert, special events to break up the standard races and online races as well. I think it's great.
26)Dead Space Released October 14, 2008
Why It Was Selected
Isaac went to town on the Necromorphs and earned a spot on our list thanks to the perfectly paced gameplay, creepy zero-G sections, and "oh my God, what's around the next corner" feeling that permeated the title. Space has never been scarier.
Favourite Memory
Sometimes, a title sneaks up on me. I was jaded with survival horror games after the mediocrity of Resident Evil 5 smashed me in the face earlier in 2009, so when I got my hands on Dead Space, I feigned excitement. Low expectations are a good thing sometimes, though, because Dead Space absolutely blew me away. The game felt lonely and isolated, and I loved that.
25) ModNation Racer Released May 25, 2010
Why It Was Selected
The "Play, Create, Share" mentality that was first established with LittleBigPlanet returned in full force when developer United Front Games tackled an ambitious project known as ModNation Racers. This addictive kart racer combined the recognizable racing formula gamers have known since Mario Kart and an incredible suite of creation tools, making it one of the most fun, "family friendly" multiplayer games on the PlayStation 3. ModNation Racers boasts an extensive campaign with a tremendous number of unlockables, along with plenty of modes that enable gamers around the world to create their own tracks, karts and mods (characters). With local and online multiplayer support, ModNation racers is a great game for groups and the PlayStation community has warmly embraced it.
Favourite Memory
Like LBp my favourite partsis what community creates playing on there tracks trying to beat other people in race.Is such creative game that if you like Mario Kart you should play ModNation it's just fun game and fun to play online.
24)Assassin's Creed 2 Released November 17, 2009
Why It Was Selected
Assassin's Creed II transforms a middling action game into an intriguing and consistently entertaining open-world adventure. Based on this game, Ubisoft Montreal should run a clinic on how to iterate a franchise and if the series continues in this vein, the next installment will take aim at Rockstar's best efforts. The experience is layered, unique, and shows an incredible attention to detail. This is one case where the sequel has triumphed over the original by catching the gameplay up to the already excellent visuals. No matter what your preconceptions are about Assassin's Creed II, the game is well worth your time and money.
Favourite Memory
My favourite got to be walking up to group of 4 guards then turned to 2 of them pulled out my hidden blade and stabed them then as other two were about two attack i stabed them then just blended into the crowd like to didn't do anything and go do the next story mission.
23)Borderlands Released October 20, 2009
Why It Was Selected
Shooters are a dime a dozen, but what makes Borderlands stand apart is its impressive style and insane depth. Sure, it's a first-person shooter by design, but the leveling and combining of weapons makes Borderlands an RPG nut's fantasy. You're picking up loot left and right, questing with friends, and watching your progress meter every second that you can. Add in the cel-shaded look of the game that makes you feel like you're in a slick, gun-filled cartoon, and you know that Gearbox has a winner
