Well the fact it won best of E3 awards and was nominated for some means it definitely was one of the most, if not the most, popular titles at E3. I will say this, E3 2018 became the Kingdom Hearts III show with all the promoting for it, the trailer blitz, and deluxe packages, and interviews. Microsoft stole the show with the game then Sony came along with another trailer and then Square Enix came along so it really became the KH3 show.

I believe it. Nomura and Square-Enix gave us the new Frozen Trailer, the Pirates of the Caribbean Trailer, and spoiled us by showing Aqua fallen into darkness. I think those three are one of the reasons why Kingdom Hearts 3 was such a big hit this year's E3. Plus, they're also releasing the limit-edition PS4 Kingdom Hearts 3 theme and releasing Kingdom Hearts bundled of Kingdom Hearts 1.5 + 2.5, 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts 3 in one package.

Still, i hate the fact that Nomura said that "Final Fantasy characters not necessary", that's like spitting on all the work they've contributed to the franchise, Leon, Cloud, Auron, Zack, Seifer and everyone else too, if you're not going to have a crossover between Final Fantasy and Disney which is one of the main reasons why the original game became so popular then you shouldn't include the characters in the first place, i mean don't get me wrong, i love Kingdom Hearts and how Nomura brought it into the world but i hate the fact that he trolls so much and that he has basically revealed the real reason why we haven't any Final Fantasy characters after Kingdom Hearts II, that's how i see it anyways.

I thought I was the only one that thought this! The series was literally started as a crossover between FF and Disney, so it really doesn't make any sense to forget about the Final Fantasy characters! Hopefully he realizes that with KH4 and adds more Final Fantasy characters

Same here, that's how I found out about Final Fantasy, but I wasn't allowed to play it yet because I was 5. I didn't even care about the Disney aspect when I was first playing it as a kid, I always liked the original stuff and Final Fantasy the most which is kinda weird considering how young I was.

This was something that really brought a smile to my face, because it just really shows just how far Nomura and his team have come, and the journey we KH fans have been embarking for so long! To see that Kingdom Hearts III is so close to release and get all this praise and love...to be the most talked about game at E3, the biggest gaming convention in the world...God, it makes me so proud! :')

 

Seriously though, this is amazing, because just think of all of the newcomers that will want to get into the series because of these recent Kingdom Hearts III trailers? It's just gonna boost the sales for KHIII all the more! And with the whole Xehanort Saga bundle that was announced for PSN, it gives newcomers a steady access to be able to catch up to the whole saga and then get III when it releases!
