Aw man, that stinks!   How far into the game were you when that happened?

I'm sorry to hear that :( If you happen to have a chance to play it again, make sure you have a Facebook account and connect it to your UX account. That is your back up in case you lose the app.

I actually enjoy it. The biggest downside is the temptation to buy more medals and had to deal with bad luck LOL Other than that, I enjoy the story (and the fact that I decided to self insert myself to the series is a dream honestly LOL)

I played a couple of days when the game first came out, but never felt excited to keep playing after that.

I watched the important cutscenes with subs once they came out to know what was going on, but that's it.

Probably an unpopular opinion, but, please don't yell at me. KHUX isn't worth playing even with all the lore in it alone. It's too repetitive and gets really boring after a while. Especially since it takes a while to get to the actual important story parts. Even if you do get to the story parts, they are really lackluster. It may be just me, but throwing Lauriam and Ventus into KHUX felt very lazy. Despite not knowing where they came from, I feel like this all could have been handled better and all of these "twists" aren't very exciting me. The only aspects I liked about it was the adorable art style and the classic KH music. It has to be my least favorite game in the KH franchise besides re:coded. KHX Back Cover didn't impress me all that much either and it only raised more questions. I feel like they shouldn't have put the story of the Keyblade war into a mobile game. I understand it as much as everyone else does and I still don't like it. I digress, though. It is too early to tell where all of this is leading to. If it gives a legit reason to how it connects to KH 3, besides the fact that it's just because it is the Keblade War, my opinion will change.

I played it for a year (I think) then kinda got bored with it. Plus I felt like I had to pay to win, which I didn't want to do. I wasn't lucky with the draws at all or with groups. I'm kinda interested in the story but I just pick up on bits and pieces. All I'm wanting to know is how it connects to Kingdom Hearts III in the end...

Good for those who are super invested and having a blast with it, mobile games in general aren't my cup of tea. It's hard for me to get into... *coughmysticmessengercough*

I’ve been playing for a bit more than a year and a half. The reasons I’m still playing are for the story and for the friends I’ve made playing it. I know I could just watch YouTube videos that show the scenes, but those can’t really keep my attention; it’s much easier for me to keep track of if I play through the story myself. Unfortunately, the story progresses at a snail’s pace.

Interesting events can keep me engaged while waiting for more story, but we got very little of that until this month (2nd Anniversary), and I have no idea what things will look like next month. Union Cross (multiplayer) turns out to be more of a chore. It usually rotates every two weeks, the boards can be filled in half an hour’s work, yet every week your party has to do 80 missions for the sake of 300 jewels. Coliseum is boring. They’ve recently improved the rewards and reduced the number of rounds you need to get to your max rank, but it’s still boring. There is little reason to attempt to rank well for the week, save for one week out of each month.

They’ve only recently made Lux grinding actually do anything for you by increasing the level cap, but all that does is give you jewels every 50 levels, instead of unlocking avatar boards every few levels like it used to do. As such, the avatar board coins we continue to accumulate do nothing. Munny used to be necessary, and while it still is technically, we get it so much faster than we spend it. We used to worry about medal equip costs, but that barely matters. Despite this they keep giving us tons of Cid medals to reduce costs. Every quest, I inadvertently pick up materials for upgrading keyblades. These materials are useless, as all of my keyblades are past the point of needing these. I could sell them for munny, but I’ve already established that doing so would be pointless.

The whole structure of gameplay is based around power creep. Nearly every new medal is objectively better than the last. Old medals that used to be top-notch are only occasionally useful for quests with restrictions on the medals that can be used. The power creep is so bad that I do not see how they can sustain this game long enough to reach a third anniversary.

But I’ve made some good friends that complain about t the game with me as we wait for sporadic story updates and the occasional event that requires all of the latest medals to complete.

For the record, I have spent exactly $30 on the game, which I think is fair.

I love this game! Loving that it connects to the Kingdom Hearts series as being the story of our Keyblade Wielders in the Age Of Fairy Tales, where the first Keyblade War took place! I love the concept of the Foretellers and the Dandelions, and Ephemer and the others trying to keep balance and order in order to restore the world and whatnot! It's a great game, though I will admit that story updates can sometimes be too much filler, because sometimes we have to wait quite some time for the very important bits to drop! But still, I enjoy the game!

I have a party in Unicornis called The X-Blade Knights! It's 30 members strong, and we all socialize well together and help each other out and give each other advice! And of course, we hype over new story updates and Kingdom Hearts III and anything else Kingdom Hearts related or otherwise! The game is enjoyable, and I like the variety of things that one can do while playing the game! I especially love customization, and I have a pretty decent collection of Guilted Medals! And I also love my adorable Spirit Dream Eater, and he's real helpful in grueling quests and Raid battles!

But yes, I've been enjoying this game, playing it every day, and with two years under my belt, I've been happy to be a part of this epic KH game! I'm sure to stick by it till the servers shut down! :)

I actually do enjoy the game. I go on everyday to collect jewels and do small missions to finish daily objections (curtainly a morning routine for me). I will say the biggest problem for me is because it is a mobile game, it does involve micro-transactions. Whenever I draw for medals, I get very unlucky LOL However, I still enjoyed the story (even though it is a weird place to put it). The best part is the fact I can insert myself literally into their world at that timeline. I know, incredibly silly and overall very mary-sue in a way. I still enjoy the game regardless on the flaws.

Kind of a petty reason, I apologize. I wouldn't rank it on top of the lost of the best kh games obviously. I still kind it a fun distraction and a reason to wake up the morning.

This pretty much sums it up for me.

I don't like the game. I tried it. Twice. First time up to mission 70 I think. Second time up to mission 120, if not higher, I can't remember.

I find the game boring, the combats are repetitive and the gameplay is bland. On top of this, the story does not advance until whatever point of the story I could not even reach. (Before I forget, I stopped the game before they introduced the... "pet system" ? Dunno how to call it.)

When a game asks you to go through +100 missions to give you a bit of its scenario... It's a Kingdom Hearts game, story is heavily important. I know that this game story looks interesting. I know. But... Plus 100 missions to get there ? I said 100, I managed to get that far, and there wasn't a bit of plot going on.

So yeah. Boring gameplay + No Story = No thanks. Better watch walkthroughs.

Maybe I'm a bit mean with the game. I guess I'll try it again... I want to get Lionheart. And never upgrade it. 'cause KH1 Lionheart is the best. Also, I wanna know what's the deal with this Marluxia lookin' dude.

I invest a lot of time into it, but it does nothing but irritate me. It needs to start progressing its own plot so we can figure out where it stands in connection to KH3. I'm also very...very tired of Agrabah...

I'm a mixed bag on the game overall. Especially as of late.

I don't like how the story isn't going anywhere anymore, and a lot of it feels like it's either rushed or forced.
If they want to invest us with Ven's backstory, they better make up an arc for him very soon. As for Lauriam. Well let's just say that I hope they don't have him turn out to be a (in your face) antagonist. At first I was very intrigued by having a much more focused story for Union X but with all the filler, unfair medal system & dragging updates, I just can't enjoy the game as much as I used to do.

However I will not deny that I am happy that it exists. Whenever you had a bad day, it's nice to tune into the game and run around with your pet. While also play with your friends in cross. I still do like to do some missions and as long as they keep the story updated, I won't give up on this game completely. And I do really love the art style of the game. So there's still a lot of thing to appreciate.

The thing is, that I see a lot of potential in this game and it's story. When I see that they often skip a lot of opportunities, it just doesn't feel very exciting to play the game.
