So again take this with a grain of salt.  BUT this is the same guy that knew in December that there was coming a World Ends with You port.

Oh my God, if this leak turns out to be true, I'm going to lose my sanity! Do you imagine us getting an official release month at D23??? God, I can't even begin to imagine! And the rest of what this leak says doesn't sound far-fetched at all! Everything seems pretty fair and legit for something we'd get regarding Kingdom Hearts III! And the flashback scene also featuring Yen Sid!? Hell yes, I wanna see young, beardless Yen Sid in his prime!

 

Gahhh, I wonder if these leaks are real!?

Anyways, this may in fact be legit, so I might end up not looking at it. 

 

The only thing I saw in this post is the

release window and that the release date for the game is going to be announced at the event

 

 

that's all I need to know unless I change my mind

It's strange that someone would admit that they're still not used to the engine but a release date will be revealed and it's Q3 for now. (For now does not sound confident at all and they're going to reveal a release date anyway?). I'm not claiming this is legit or not but it would make me worried that they're still having problems with the engine but plan to release it anyway. Of course I want to hope for the best but if this is indeed true, that almost screams for a bug-filled game with sub-par models and lighting and unfinished content.

As I said, I'd like to be positive but it doesn't sound too good.

 

Another thing which is odd but not entirely impossible: didn't Auron dissolve into Pyreflies in a scene during the credits of KH2? That's not to say he couldn't be brought back again like the first time or that they overlooked it, but why show that scene in KH2 if they had plans to use him again?

 

I appreciate the cameos but those are a lot of characters to introduce out of nowhere into a world which is not FF-based. I'd like to see more FF, but they never really added this many new characters at once. If they would though, I certainly wouldn't mind.

Besides RE:Coded, I don't think any FF character was a party member.

Why I'm hurt by FFXV in a nutshell.

 

I'm glad, however, that they're focusing far more on developing content than being open with fans. It's been proven by SE themselves that if they set the bar low (or just don't set the bar high), then there's less room for disappointment. I loved the openness of Tabata, but I'm sure to some extent, it got in the way of development...

 

FFXV devs weren't even confident in the game when it released. They said that they were even surprised at its popularity.

In Kingdom hearts 2 you fight side by side with multiple FF character. They weren't REALLY in your party but you did fight together.

 

Auron was a party member in KH2. Zack fights with you a bit in BBS if you count it.

Oh right, forgot about that.

 

Yeah, in terms of party there was Auron in II and Cloud in RE:Coded. I remember the Radiant Garden scene too where most showed up as AI. Maybe it is a possibility.

Interesting. I will take it with a grain of salt though. The reason why is all the FF cameos. I can’t help but feel a bit suspicious about it.

then again, the leaker successfully predicted TWEWY port for nintendo switch back in December so there is at least a little bit of credibility with it. I too will take this with a grain of salt until all of this is confirmed at D23 in a few weeks

  • I think this was forced because of the MI leak we had last December. But then again, Nomura said that he'd like to reveal all KH3 worlds before release...

  • Hold up. If Q3 is to be believed, the game is unveiling the last world a month into its alleged release window. Pretty bold move, should get the fans really hyped (or really annoyed because its Frozen).

  • Honestly, I'm not buying into this list of FF characters. Too many. I get the FFXV quartet because of how successful XV had been (even though it was an incomplete game at launch) but Lighting and the others? Too far-fetched.

You know, I think this may SLIGHTLY be real (and I MEAN slightly) due to the successful prediction of the TWEWY port. Then again, we have yet to know this for a fact, so I’m leaning towards neutral for now.
