Finn and vigor 287 Posted September 24, 2017 (edited) Now with the reveal of the offical name of "Brain" coming into the mix (like I said get used to it lol) i have found a pretty huge connection that could lead to Brain's identity end up being Braig. Now of course its not just the fact that both names are quite similar, i have a few things i want to bring up as well. The first one being Braig's relationship with Ventus. In 358 you'll remember Xigbar saw Xion as Ventus which showed a connection between the 2 but if you really stop and think about it, Braig within BBS only met Ventus for a few seconds (that being the moment where Ventus got frozen by Xehanort). So i mean how could Braig even remember the fact that "He has the Angry look down" when he only saw him for a few seconds? Now of course Braig had to have known the importance of Ventus through Xehanort AND the moment he saw Roxas the memory of Ventus would have clicked so i mean he couldn't have possibly forgotten about him and is pretty obvious from Xigbar's actions within KH2. But i think there is more to this, I'll state the exact quote with Braig's interaction with Ventus in BBS: "Oh, this kiddo thinks he's a full fledged Keyblade weilder. He's got the Angry Look Down". Now i think we assumed that this was Braig's first time mentioning his "Angry look" but from the way Braig is saying it, i believe it could be leading to that Braig "knew" Ventus at some point in time before, that being the Xchi era with him saying to Ventus at some point saying he had an " Angry Look". (And i'm telling you, if Brain at some point in UC calls Ventus "Kiddo" or says something like "Whats with the Angry look?" i think that will confirm the connections here.) Although of course at this point in time there are pretty much no concrete connections between Braig or any of the characters introduced in Xchi so far so i think that's all i can think of here. EXCEPT this one last thing. Think back to the cutscene in KH2 with Xigbar and Zexion having a conversation about the Chamber of Waking and Chamber of Repose. In this cutscene there is 1 tiny detail that could connect Braig to the dandelion leaders that being his mentioning of Marluxia's recruitment into the organization. Here's the quote here: "I found one just yesterday, Mar something". This pretty much flat out confirms that Braig was the one who "found" Marluxia or Lauriam and from this i have come up with a possibility. What if there was a deeper reasoning on why Xigbar recruited Marluxia into the Organazation in the first place? Was it so that they could find Ventus for themselves? Because I get the feeling that maybe Xigbar knew that Marluxia would betray Xemnas at some point as part of their own personal "plan" but i guess since Marluxia failed and fell to Sora Xiggy decided to drop the plan so that he wouldn't get found out by Xemnas and lose his trust with Xehanort. But with these connections I do have a strong feeling that from the confirmation of Lauriam and Brain's obvious partnership (in the newest update from the way they are acting) this could mean that they're Nobodies, Xigbar and Marluxia, most likely had a similar partnership as well in the Organazation with their own set of ambitions but what those ambitions would be i can't say much at this point. One things for sure though: Pinky and the Brain are up to something fishy. Guest Posted September 24, 2017 It's funny, I initially believed that Brain was Ienzo because of how his hair was stylized, but then when he got official art of him, I thought that he was Eraqus, but with the shady way that he was talking trash about Master Ava, and his collaborative approach with Lauriam, I too believe that Brain is Braig. We've yet to see Brain and Lauriam summon their Keyblades. We were always under the assumption that every resident on Daybreak Town is immediately a Keyblade Wielder but that not may be the case after all. Eraqus and Braig have the same eye color (at least before Braig became part Xehanort). I doubt there is any meaning to this but it is something I'd like to point out. True, but Brain has an air of shadiness that's anything unlike Eraqus, but then again, it's hard to decipher Young Eraqus' personality because we've seen so little of it. Jingilator 922 Posted September 26, 2017 Similar name =/= same person. In fact, "Brain" was likely a translation error on SENA's part. 1 Master Eraqus reacted to this
