Has Nomura all but confirmed Tim Burton's adaptation of Alice in Wonderland?

In the daily mirror fan interview do you believe Nomura has all but confirmed the live action adaptation of Alice in Wonderland by Tim Burton with this statement?

 

Nomura: In terms of favourite movies then, I like Lion King. Something more recent would be Alice in Wonderland; it'd be kind of cool to have The White Queen appear in Kingdom Hearts.

 

It would make sense with the tea-cup attraction flow ride? Seen as the astro-blaster attraction flow will more than likely be acquired from the Toy Story world then the tea-cups will probably be acquired from this world too? What do you think?

i was thinking "nah that's a bit out there for a KH game" but then you reminded me of the tea-cup attraction flow and suddenly it does sound a little bit more believable.

Something we have to remember too is that considering this is the PS4 and the Unreal Engine 4, Nomura is definitely gonna wanna include a live action world into the mix. After all, it makes sense for Nomura to put the graphics to the test. It's KH3 go big or go home. Considering Toy Story looks better than the movie itself, it's exciting to see how great the other character are gonna look like.

Nah not confirmed. Let me know you that KH3 will have not that many Disney worlds.

Since Alice in Wonderland wasn't really popular in KH1 I would say no.

Nomura loves The Lion King but confirmed that won't be in Kingdom Hearts III

 

Nomura: "My personal favorite world is the Lion King world. Sadly, we have already used too much content from Lion King and therefore could not put it in for Kingdom Hearts 3. While developing this game, in order to avoid overlapping with previous worlds, we have prioritized creating new worlds to use".

Plus, seeing as we already have an Alice existing in the Kingdom Hearts Universe, I really don't think they want to pull the parallel game right now. Kingdom Hearts is a team based decision, and just because Nomura like a Disney property, doesn't mean it'd make it to the game.

Ehhhh the movies are okay. I'd rather have Pirates of the Caribbean again for a live action world or Guardians of the Galaxy.

Guardians would actually be amazing, though I'm not sure if they want to put in another marvel property after Big Hero 6.

Nomura would never mention another world in an interview like that off-handedly. While the possibility of it happening someday is there, it's definitely not going to be in Kingdom Hearts III.

True. Honestly though I'd be shocked if they didn't put in a live action property. The only ones I can see happening are really Star Wars, live action Marvel, Pirates, Tron or Wonderland.

I feel like the most logical choice would be Tron since Nomura is probably gonna wanna bring Tron back to see what happens with him. I hope for Guardians the most because Peter Quill would totally fit the role Jack played in the Port Royal world. I could totally see Sora and the gang fitting in. Yondu could want to have the keyblade himself while Sora could get tangled in the hunt of Peter Quill and the gang by the space authorities.

Agreed. I sure hope it is not in. There is so many more films that need to be in KH3. I'm that one person who just wants the animated stuff to be in, no live action personally. While Pirates was okay, it just did not meld well with KH in my opinion.

We already have the Disney AiW, we're good in that area, assuming Wonderland will even return to III but since Alice is a PoH, it's possible.

 

I mean, just because we have tea cups doesn't mean we'll get an entirely new version of Alice anyway. The tea cups are from the original ride which was again based on Disney's Alice, not Tim Burton's.
