Easily Hades for me. He looks just like his model from the previous games but so much better. His flames/hair just looks amazing, the smoke arising looks awesome and his face just looks so expressive.

 

Pete takes a close second for me. He looks just like what he looked in previous games.

I don't get the issue with Xemnas either :O He looks a little swollen maybe.. but Sora also looks like he's got a toothache tbh...

I'd definitely say Hades and Maleficent. I am so shocked at how wonderful the Disney Characters look, especially after the struggle they apparently went through in 0.2. Mickey looks way worse than them! (It might still be a slight lightning issue though).

I think Pete looked fantastic! There was so much more detail in his model. I would have liked to see him in a new outfit though. But I think he looked great. Probably would go Hades next as he looked on point but it's not hard to make Hades look good. I don't know if it is just me but I really do not like the look of the Organization coats. They just look so thick and fake I don't know, might just be me.

Okay let's make a list here:

 

- Sora, Donald and Goofy: We have seen this guys many times and we have seen how great they look on Unreal Engine 4 since KH2.9.

- Ansem and Xemnas: People was literally going "eww" over Xemnas and we couldn't see much from Ansem in detail. But to me both looked fantastic! Ansem looks so nice and similar to his model! Xemnas on the other hand looks a bit different on his facial features but this is due to her eyebrows and eyelashes being less noticeable than in the previous model (his eyebrows looked contrasted with his skin while now they look a bit faded due to their light color which is less noticeable in a more detailed model, same happens with the eyelashes. And to top it up it has the sun light on his face thus making his hair features brighter). He looks way more scary and great to me IMO.

- Hades: What can I say that hasn't been told yet! His hair and smoke features look amazing! It's way too similar to his cartoon style in the film and that makes it even better! He looks fantastic!

- Pete and Maleficent: Pete looks just nice! You can see the texture details on some of his clothes without much effort! As for Maleficent... this is the one I think looked "worse" (if there's such thing). She looks fine but something in her face makes her look... weird... like there's something they missed... it's like her face is not that pointy as her previous model but IDK... on the other hand it appears they showed her "standard" face instead of a more acted one. She didn't move her eyebrows or mouth or something to make more expressions. Maybe it's just that.

- Hercules: It still looked a bit "plastic" to me but it might be because of his "God Glow" or perhaps it's just we didn't actually see him much at all.

- Rock Titan: The dramatic environment created by the rain effect and the size of the titan compared to that of the first KH has made a BIG jump in development. He looked freaking nice and amazing! Even compared to that of the first trailers he looks way bigger and it's just incredibly well done. I'm not a fan of fighting this titan, I do like it but not in a way where it's one of my favorite fights, BUT THIS TIME it looks like it's gonna be a super fun fight and I can't possibly imagine what else SE has in store for us!

Hades, for sure. For two reasons:

 

1) His hair looks fantastic, even though it's just two meshes (one slightly bigger and inside-out, Ōkami style) topped off with particle effects.

2) The range of facial expressions are amazing! Rigging faces is tough, especially when you have a flexible / fluid face like most Disney characters have. Kingdom Hearts has had unlit graphics partially for this reason, as vertex shading with weird vertex concentrations are… well weird. UE4's normal maps allow the Disney character faces to retain their smooth appearance despite weird vertex topology.

 

I'm really looking forward to seeing some more Disney character face rigs in the [near] future~ : D
