Baymax in MvC Infinite

Recommended Posts

Hello, I was thinking about having Baymax from Disney's Big Hero 6 in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, and so I thought: why not have him in it? "Why, though?", you might be thinking. Well, besides him being completely combat-ready, I have several of my own reasons:

-The movie is based off of the original Marvel comic.

-Disney owns Marvel (duh).

-Capcom has worked with Disney before (example: the Ducktales NES game and its remaster).

-Who doesn't want to see Baymax react to characters like Sigma, Iron Man, Mega Man X, Tron Bonne, etc.?

So what do you guys think? Should Baymax be in Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite, whether or not as DLC?

It's possible... if it's "Disney" dlc. You see, the animated version of Big Hero 6 is copyrighted by Walt Disney Animation Studios, not Marvel. Sure, key figures from Marvel Entertainment were involved with the movie, but Marvel Entertainment as a company was not involved with the movie, it was all by Walt Disney Animation Studios, that's why Big Hero 6 (the animated movie) doesn't legally count as a Marvel property.

However, it's entirely possible to see Baymax in the game if Disney Animation gives the greenlight.
