it's the best KH movie

And the only KH movie :} (not counting the re-mastered cut scenes from 1.5, 2.5, etc etc)

---

I wanted more of Noctis' evil voice, but overall, it piqued my interest with the mysterious box and MoM and possibly the reincarnation theory, etc.

After Re:Coded, I'd say that Back Cover was indeed a well executed cinematic Kingdom Hearts entry. What killed Days is the lack of battle scenes, but I still loved it to death, especially with the added Xion battle scene!

But going back to Back Cover, it was awesome, and I just loved getting a glimpse at the Foretellers and how they operated! There was definitely discord and distrust upon them! I loved the Master Of Masters, and I hope this isn't the last we see of him in the Kingdom Hearts series!

Going to chime into this topic and give my brief two cents.

I feel like Back Cover was actually pretty good for the most part. I really liked that they touched upon the Foretellers and gave them unique personalities. I also really liked the comic relief with the Master of Masters. The soundtrack was also great, but only a few tracks have been uploaded somewhere from it.

Anyway...back the the point. The character development was pretty good. I wished they would've shown a little more of Ephemer and included Skuld in the mix. Perhaps, they should've waited to release Back Cover till post Union-Cross. It also would've given them the excuse to release 3D renders of the Dandelions and new Foretellers. Overall, I liked the movie, but felt like it was missing some tidbits here and there.

Yeah, I get what you're saying. But it seems as though Nomura was content to give us Back Cover as it is. Who knows? Maybe another installment could be in the works as DLC for 2.8! This means that all that would have to be done is simply create more cutscenes and add them to Back Cover, such as the Roxas vs. Xion fight was added to the Days cutscenes in 1.5+2.5! It's not impossible! :3

It was a bit of both to me. I liked watching the back cover it was entertaining and the characters fit perfectly. I thought some questions might be answered in the movie, but I have more questions before I started watching it. Like who's the real traitor? Why the heck Skuld didn't appear! ?
And why the master of master left? I'm not even sure he's a good or bad guy. This movie just makes me want to know what happened. The ending was driving me crazy. I would pay Nomura to continue the back cover movie. Please take my money Nomura!

Going back and watching it, I find all the MoM scenes very entertaining, and the story is batshit to a rather funny degree, But my previous sentiments remain. This doesn't even have much of a real structure.

That's the beauty of it all. Back Cover left us tantalizing to know if there really was a traitor or not! I personally think that the Master Of Masters orchestrated all of this on purpose just for laughs and giggles, because he seems like that type of guy! Then again, he's too unpredictable! xD And I was also sad that Skuld didn't appear. Wanted to see that beauty with the current KH graphics!

And well, the Master Of Masters said that he'd disappear, but he was rather cryptic about that, so not much else could be found out. I just loved how all these questions remain! I'd definitely be all in for a continuation to Back Cover!

Lol, hey, this is Kingdom Hearts! Like many franchises, some things are crazy and make no sense! xD  And yesss, the MoM is immensely entertaining! He's practically the Deadpool of the Kingdom Hearts universe! He revels in confusing the heck out of people! xD

It wasn't literally "bad" and it wasn't a waste of time either. It was rather a disappointment, because such movie was expected to cover most of the events of Chi in general but then they told us that it focuses on Foretellers, then we thought that maybe it would give better details if we took the aspect of the masters, but boy I was wrong.
- Instead of being a complete movie, they pointlessly divided them into episodes with each of them having the point of view of a single Foretller, which was a bad move cuz even Re:Coded felt more connected than Back Cover when it comes to cutscene events.
- They brought more questions to the plot than answering the previous ones, most of the titles answer some questions before raising new ones but this movie didn't.

- They disappointlsly didn't bring the events of Keyblade War (the events that happened at the end of Unchained Chi) and decided to stop the events on a very random part of the event.

- The fighting events weren't satisfying and we didn't even see all of the Foretellers fighting except two of them.

- Ephemera didn't have enough roles and Skuld didn't appear whatsoever even when they were considered the main protagonists of Chi.
- The movie didn't cover all of the events that happened DURING the events of Back Cover, they simply focused completely on the Foretellers that they didn't try to connect things with Unchained Chi, which is unusual for KH titles.

For those reasons, I find the movie to be disappointing, nevertheless, not bad since it had gorgeous graphics with the plots having the mysterious element. It wasn't a waste of time since it's important to know why the Foretellers were fighting.
