Deseo raised an eyebrow a bit. He had heard of the Keyblade Wielders, who hasn't? Their stories are told like fairy tales to children of all ages, and to adults as tales of adventure. Their armor only made them look more knightly than anyone wants to admit. So they had some in store based on that? Now that was more understandable for this mission. Deseo jumped off from his chair, getting his blade back on its sheath as he looked for the chest she spoke of. He found it, heavy and with iron hinges, but luckily unlocked. He pushed it open, revealing the sight of the armor glove pieces, well, the gloves that would provide them the armor. He pushed his way into the chest, moving gloves here and there until he found one small enough to fit him. He pulled it out, the glove made out of a darkened metal on the forearm, with a purple circle, or gem, over the back of the hand. "Pretty." Deseo hummed, sliding the glove on. It felt odd, but it was strangely more flexible than it looked. "So...how you activate it?" Deseo asked as he waved his hand. He paused, looking at the gem. "Here?" Deseo pressed the gem, a light suddenly engulfing him, much to his surprise. He closed his eyes, feeling as something covered him. Once the light faded, he was suited up in full armor. It was colored of black metal, with light purple matching the gem. His helmet had two spikes, one on either side, pointing up as its back curved sharply. He also had spikes on the shoulders, and on the knees, pointing upwards along his limbs. "Whoa." Deseo gasped, looking at his hands, and then at his reflection on the nearest window. He had to admit; he looked good. It could possibly be, the most awesome thing he had ever worn, not even Halloween costumes could compare to this one. "Can I keep it?" He asked, a smile hidden behind the helmet as he spun around chuckling, looking at himself and any details. He stretched his hands, watching as the darkness emitted from him through the armor. "Think we'll make it out of the cluster alive? Big numbers of Heartless also mean the chances of joining together and forming one very big Heartless too." Deseo said as he looked at his hands again. They had just entered the lane, and Deseo could already feel a feeling tingling on the back of his head. It was scratching at his paranoia.

Seracus nodded, smiling at Stella, and looked at Aranea, Ardyn, and Hotaru with a smile. "I see, it looks like we have to get into suits fit for exploring space of the Lanes Between, oh well, no harm in that." Said Seracus, talking to Aranea, Ardyn, and Hotaru. Tyler looked at the Shadows that were appearing, holding his Keyblade, looking around. "Guys, it would seem that the enemy had detected us, I think we should take care of the Heartless before doing anything else." Said Tyler, talking to Clarice and Nilas. Somewhere in an unknown area in Destiny Islands, a Corridor of Darkness opened up, and Culoris walked out of it, and looked around for something. He was there to talk to someone, and it would seem that he was sent there. "Come out, the master had sent me to speak with you." Said Culoris, talking to someone.

Hotaru looked at Seracus and nodded.
"That's right," he answered, "better safe than sorry."
The Chancellor listened to Stella with a very calm look on his face. He remembered she used to be like that, always facing things head on. Like that time in Insomnia.
"Simple and clean," Ardyn said to Stella, "I like it. Why stand on ceremony when you can go straight to the point. Isn't that right, Miss Stella?"
Aranea and Hotaru were already looking for their respective stuff in the chest. After looking for awhile they managed to find pieces in their size. Hotaru was the first one to tap into the armor piece, and with a glow of light, his body was covered by a full set of silver colored armor.
"Nice," he said, "Saw one of those years ago, and I have to say this is close to the original armors worn by Wielders back in the old days."
The Dragoon stared at her piece for a moment before doing the same as Hotaru. Hers didn't change that much, instead her normal armor gained a few additional pieces.
"Uh, this is convenient,"she said, "It won't get in the way of our movements."
Aranea had another piece of armor, one that she threw at the Chancellor without telling him, said man caught the piece just when it was going to make contact with his face.
"Thank you, Miss Highwind," Ardyn said with a smug smile, "Saves me the trouble of finding one myself."
Aranea rolled her eyes and shook her head. The man was strange and, apparently, that was not going to change any time soon.

{The Etro's Light: The Lanes Between}

Stella came down into the hold as the team started pulling out and using the armors. She was impressed by how well the armors looked. She had assumed they would be simple environmental suits, but they seemed just like the sketches of the armors she had seen. Another thing she would have to congratulate the boys about.

"Probably." Stella answered Deseo. "Though be careful. Still don't know how durable the suits will be."

Ardyn's comment got him a quick look from Stella. Why did it seem like he knew her? But that was impossible...wasn't it?

"Coming up on the spot, miss!" Reggie called down.

"Be right up!" Stella yelled back.

She pushed her questions to the side for the time being. There was a mission to not die on.

"Alright, join me on deck when you are ready." She told the team. "Remember, the more Heartless we can avoid, the better off we'll be."

Taking a deep breath, she went back up on deck. She looked to the fore of the ship and say an asteroid field ahead. Parts of the grey and brown rocks were covered in black as Heartless scuttled around on the rocky surface.

"Keeping to the edges, right?" Reggie asked, fear returning to his voice.

"Preferably." Stella answered.

The Etro's Light banked to avoid approaching the asteroids and Heartless head on.

{Destiny Islands: Beach}

Nilas sprang up and vaulted over the Heartless to rejoin the rest of the team.

"Looks like trouble came to us again." He noted. "Does make things easier."

The Shadows turned to face the heroes in their jerky manner. After some fidgeting, the Heartless began to run and spring at their prey. Nilas raised his Keyblade in a block in time to deflect a jumping shadow. He followed up with a quick strike to destroy that Heartless.

{Destiny Islands: Secret Place}

A dark figure who had been studying the odd wooden door hidden in the secret cave on the smaller islands turned to face Culoris. As a hood was pulled back, the figure was revealed to be an anthropomorphic panther. His silky black fur blending in with the shadows of the cave well so that only his deep greens eyes showed up.

"Why the interruption?" Cornelius Syther asked, not even trying to hide the annoyance in his voice. "If you hold up my attack, it's on your head."

Deseo made sure that his blades were secured before following Stella out to the deck. The stars were much prettier out on the deck than downstairs through a window. But he could also see the endless number of Heartless clustering around the pieces of asteroids and dead stars as if it was the last piece of land in space as a whole. Smartly enough, they were going to go around the edge of the hoard, keeping their distance to avoid any direct confrontation. "I appreciate the effort in avoiding conflict. But out here, as far as we are from them, we're targets in open. Bleeding sardines in open sea, our hearts are the blood, and the heartless are the sharks." Deseo said as he looked around. They would be swallowed up in no time if they were found out. "We're sitting ducks, even this far away." Deseo huffed, a thought coming to him as he smiled. "Unless we end up blending in. Hold on, Stella. I think I have an idea to blend right in." Deseo said clapping his hands as he hurried to the side of the ship. The darkness that spread across by the Heartless alone was intense, almost touchable. Deseo focused, stretching his arms out before pulling them back in, pulling darkness along his fingertips. "If I can just get it around..." Deseo hummed, focusing on pulling the darkness around the ship, covering it like a blanket. From the inside, they should be able to see enough, but from the outside, the Heartless should see no different. With enough darkness, their hearts should be hidden just well enough to not attract the Heartless, even from far away.

Seracus smiled as he saw Stella walk away, and he began to walk to the room where the suits were located. He was thinking of something in his mind, and seemed to be pondering about something in his mind. He felt that the situation could get resolved, but he was wondering about it. Tyler looked around at several Shadow Heartless, and ended up getting hit by one, causing him to skid back, but he was able to get his footing to prevent him from falling, and he looked around on guard as he charged in at the Shadow Heartless, and casting Fira spells at several of them from his Keyblade. "Hey, Heartless, go back to wherever it is you came from, if you're lost, then my blade shall bring you to an end!" Shouted Tyler, as he attacked the Shadow Heartless. Culoris folded his arms as he looked at Cornelius. "Master Xehanort wants a report on the status of your mission, so he sent me to get it for him, and to provide you with assistance." Said Culoris, talking to Cornelius.

"What a brilliant observation, boy, " Ardyn said to Deseo, "Just be careful when the darkness come knocking at your doorsteps."
Blasted armor was very uncomfortable, but he could suffer for a few minutes, not that he really needed it at this point. At this point both Hotaru and Stella were watching Deseo do his thing.
"Let us hope this can hide us from the hearless," Hotaru said, "with such a massive amount their natural abilities must be enhanced."
The Dragoon just sighed and keep looking at the huge amount of heartless.
"The only option for now is to wait and see," she said, "what purpose do they have or what are they looking for."

--Skylar -- En Route to Lanes Between--

At some point during Stella's speech Skylar woke up from his nap, catching something about "armor" and "chest," sensing that this knowledge was important.  He sifted through the chest after everyone else had their chance, finding the gloves that best fit him and activated similarly to Deseo.

Once Stella summoned them on deck the blue-haired wielder complied, filing onto the deck and being nearly blown away by the magnificent site before him: outerspace, in its rawest form, all around him.  What was not magnificent was the asteroid surrounded by Heartless--that could potentially put a cramp in his style.

He was standing behind Deseo with his arms crossed, watching as the youth managed to pull together a barrier made from darkness. Skylar let out a chuckle in amusement.  "I'm impressed," he stated, a smile curving the corner of his mouth.  "It looks like you've been putting a lot of training into your years.  Wish I could make myself useful and pull something like that."

Leaning against the side of the spaceship, he turned a glance toward Reggie and Stella.  "So, we're to wipe out these blokes, I take it?" Skylar asked, gesturing toward the Heartless out of the window.  He'd never embarked upon a battle in space, but he was excited to give it a go.

--Clarice -- Destiny Island--

The blonde was getting ready to thank Nilas, but there wasn't much time for them to organize their thoughts before their first encounter.  Shadows popped up after a few strides toward the islands, seeming to sense their very essence and wish to annihilate them before they managed to infiltrate their territory sooner.  Clarice threw her shoulder out in front of her, extending her fingertips.  Her Keyblade materialized in an ocean of amber sparkles, its blade twinkling in the sunlight.  She leapt toward one Shadow, taking her Keyblade straight through, while doing a half-spin clockwise so that she took care of one from behind her.

Blonde hair dangling over her shoulder toward the ground, Clarice glanced up to her companions.  The Shadows were multiplying about as quickly as they were annihilating them, making them perhaps more of a threat than the nuisance she once thought they were.  Suddenly she felt something sting at her ankle, and before she could react she was pulled to the ground by three Shadows, her chin landing brutally in the sand.  Her hand clutched her Keyblade tight, as though her life depended upon it.  Perhaps it did.  She tried to kick free, but another Heartless joined in the fight and pulled her other foot down into the sand.

Compliments wasn't something he was used to receiving. At least, not from a very long time ago. The most he could remember was when he made good grades and his mom and dad congratulated him on how well he had done. So being complimented by more than one person was definitely something he was going to relish on for a very long while, even if he wasn't as used to it as he wished to be. Then again, he thought that such would be standard. Maybe it was just that he had spent way too much time with the darkness and Heartless in general. Surviving in a world scarce of resources and help before he could manage to create dark portals really shifted priorities after a while. "My circumstances have made me get creative. The only way I can sleep safely is with one of these over my head." Deseo added, making sure that the cape of darkness was stable enough before he let it go, watching it cover the ship in its relative safety. For so many hearts, he did his best to make it thick, but not too much otherwise it would slow the ship down. "Ive never seen so many Heartless focused on a single direction. We either follow the trail to find out what's calling to them or we try to attack them and stop them. Regardless I hope you have an escape plan in case things go array." Deseo said, specifically to the captain. One heart was tempting. But so many together was like a bloody fish thrown into a tank of starving sharks. They would end up fighting twice as hard to claim it as theirs. "I really think we should follow. Find out what its calling to them. If its calling out so many Heartless all on itself...one can only wonder what kind of threat it can be." Deseo added. It was mesmerizing to see. These heartless following all at the same direction, each one joining the crowd as they followed, almost hypnotized. It made him think of the Piped Piper, how he led the children away with a melody. He wondered if he could hear the song too.

{The Etro's Light: The Lanes Between}

Stella was at first alarmed by Deseo's use of Darkness, but seeing it being used as a screen calmed her down.

"Good thinking." She told him, giving a little smile.

Reggie looked more on edge with the darkness surrounding the ship, a possible side effect of the element. Stella walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Don't worry." She whispered to the pilot. "I won't let anything happen to you."

Reggie managed to get his breathing back under control.

"Sorry, miss." He apologized. "Just all this...this..."

"I understand." Stella replied. "This isn't your element."

The compliments Deseo was getting pleased Stella. It was a step in the right direction for him. Still, Hotaru was right. The Dark Shroud around them might not conceal their hearts enough from the Heartless. Was this enough of a defense?

"Basically, but more surgical." She replied to Skylar as she thought. "We need to find the weak point and strike there to disperse the hoard."

Perhaps Etro could be of help? Stella had never though of using the power of Etro's Light like this, but surely the power granted by the goddess of death could be used to deceive the living. Even something like the Heartless. It was worth a try.

"Just to warn you all." Stella said as she stepped away from Reggie.

A glowing sigil of a cold, white light formed above Stella's hand.

"I am about to try something new. This may feel weird."

Stretching out her hand, Stella cast the sigil, which sped towards the side of the ship. It stopped dead when it hit Deseo's dark shroud, but then started to move around the ship. As the sigil moved, it left a copy of itself after foot or so, till the original slid into place to create a complete barrier around the vessel. With the barrier came a chill in the air, while colors both within and without became duller.

"This should mask the vitality of our hearts from the Heartless." Stella said, her eyes shining with the same light as the sigils. "I'm sorry for the cold, but I'm not sure how to fix that."

She glanced at the Heartless to see if she had attracted attention, but Deseo's should held in the light of the sigils. Together, the shroud and the sigils should render the party from Heartless detection.

"Take us in, Reggie." Stella ordered as she starred at the Heartless.

"Aye aye" Reggie said enthusiastically as he brought the ship around for a closer look.

{Destiny Island: Beach}

Nilas hacked a few more Shadows before he felt something try to drag him down.

"Let go!" He yelled, slashing down with his Keyblade free himself.

Once freed, he kept moving around as he used his Keyblade to cut a path for himself.

"Don't stay still!" Nilas yelled to his friends. "We can-"

He stopped as he heard someone scream for help. Turning to narrow down the source of the sound, the Neophyte saw Heartless trooping towards a settlement further into the island.

"Come on!" He called out, pointing to the settlement. "We've got to help them!"

{Destiny Island: Secret Place}

"Oh, the Heartless has already been directed to attack." Cornelius said dismissively. "They'll hit hard and decimate the nearby town before the heroes can arrive."

The feline smiled darkly.

"Should have the required psychological effect on the 7 Lights."

Culoris looked on at Cornelius, still folding his arms, as he looked towards the door, and back at Cornelius. "It would seem you have things under control, but know this, relying on the Heartless alone could lead you to losing your Heart to Darkness if you go too deep on it, it would be best if you accepted my aid as Master Xehanort had ordered." Said Culoris, talking to Cornelius. Tyler had been casting Thunder spells on several Shadows, and noticed the Heartless attacking the settlement. "Those monsters, they're heading for the settlement! We need to go after them and stop them and help the people!" Shouted Tyler, talking to Nilas and Clarice. Seracus put on an armor that was provided, and looked on at Stella, folding his arms as he watched what was going on. Meanwhile, on a World named Gauria, in a city seemingly floating in the sky, held up by what seemed to be Light, in what appeared to be a mansion, Thomas was sitting at his desk, looking at what appeared to be a small Crystal-shaped tablet, which had a mysterious symbol on the top of it that seemed to resemble that of a Heart with wisps of Light and Darkness surrounding it, and what appeared to be a shard of Twilight behind it. The text on the tablet seemed to be in a mysterious language, and Thomas seemed to be looking at the writing on it. He seemed to be in a deep state of thought as he looked at the tablet. "Hmm, this is intriguing... This is quite the find, and it's something  I haven't seen like the ancient records I've found. I hope I can decipher as much of it as I can..." Said Thomas, mentally thinking to himself in his mind.

--Skylar -- The Lanes Between--

The blue-haired man offered a grin at Deseo before turning to face the window, resting a gloved hand on the glass.  "Yeah, circumstances . . . .  It's really interesting how they can shape us, isn't it?"

For a moment he started to reflect upon his own past, and how it made him into the person he now was, why he treaded the path of twilight and a Keyblade wielder.  Stella's voice finally echoed into his thoughts, however, causing him to tear his attention back to the present.

"So the weak point."  Skylar observed the structure and cluster of Heartless, his amber eyes refusing to betray even the slightest of his emotions.  "Would be best if we were able to get out of the ship and explore, I should think, but as it stands we'd probably be fully consumed if we were to do something like that."

He realized the foolishness of his words the moment he blurted them, but he felt helpless and vulnerable when surrounded by the Gummi Ship.  Out there, at least, he would feel that he could move and do something on his own, but with Heartless of those numbers?  There was no way that in reality that it would help him.

It surprised the man when Stella had unleashed Etro's Light, and the harsh cold that seared through him.  He shook involuntarily.  He understood that they had to do what they had to do, but he sincerely wished that they'd be able to get on with it.  They soared through the deep space as Reggie dove right in, closer to their target for further investigation.

--Clarice -- Destiny Island--

It took quite some time for Clarice to detangle herself from the minions of Heartless, but eventually she managed to plow her way through.  The Keyblade clutched in her right hand was indeed her saving grace, as she slashed her way through those clutching at her ankles and managed to shoot them back with an intense beam of light.

Finally she was standing.  Sweat gleamed on her forehead and caused her blonde bangs to stick against her face.  There was no time for a moment's reprieve, however, as she heard the yelps and pleas from the settlement beyond.  Stashing away her Keyblade into a plane beyond their point in existence, Clarice charged straight on ahead and toward the source of the pleading voices, her footsteps falling closely behind Nilas and Tyler as they lead the way.

She just hoped that their arrival wasn't moments too late.

He wasn't expecting the cold, quickly wrapping up his arms around himself as he felt the chill go up his spine. Even with the hoodie and the armor over his body, holy crap it was cold. "C-C-Couldn't have chosen a f-fire one huh?" Deseo hummed, looking up at Stella. Oh well, life wasn't there to give you cookies. You got what you could get and you dealt with it. Deseo glanced at Skylar, agreeing with his conclusion that even attempting to step out of the ship would end up causing them joining the hoard as a heartless. "Yeah. Not the brightest idea, unless of course, you want to join them on the party permanently." Deseo added, pointing with his thumb at the heartless beyond the deck. He turned, walking over to the railing and holding onto it as they steered closer to the hoard. It was...like a migration. But of what and why was what they had to figure out. The closer they got the more uncomfortable he felt. Yes, he wielded darkness, but that didn't matter to the Heartless, who sought out the strong willed and the moment that a single shred of weakness showed, they tore them down into pieces. It felt...claustrophobic. Instinctive fear. A pressure against his chest. These creatures had taken everything he had ever known, after all. "They're people." Deseo began. "Those who have had their hearts consumed and turned into that. This is their existence now. They're no longer who they were...they're empty shells." Deseo murmured, frowning slightly. What if mom or dad were out there? But he digressed, a new feeling slowly creeping into him. Fear. Overwhelming fear, as if something large simply loomed before the ship, daring them to come closer. What the hell was doing this? "Keep hands on that wheel. I don't like what I'm beginning to feel in there."

Aranea and Hotaru were looking ar the Heartless, their movements and behavior. Whatever it was that the creatures were planning was a mystery. And the cold! cold was nothing new for both, but it was slighly uncomfortable. The Chancellor on the other hand was looking at the sigils, such an elaborated design.

"Impressive, for someone so young," Ardyn said, "Such coldness, but not one that could rival that of the Glacian."

Hotaru looked at the Chancellor, a slightly confused look on his face.

"Glacian?" he asked, " What is that?"

"One of the Six" Aranea answered, "The Goddess of Ice. But she is long dead, Chancellor. Surely you, of all people, remember that."

Ardyn remained quiet for a moment before his smile came back.

"Indeed" he answered, "Shiva is dead. But these are gods we are talking about. Lots of them have a tendency to come back. Chaos, Cosmos, The Six, Diva, Pulse, Lindzei."

How the Chancellor came to know about those would remain a mystery, something he had no intention of answering at the moment.

"Oh, silly me, I almost forgot." He said while waving his hand, "The one whose Light shines when she welcomes the expiring souls in her bosom, she who oversees the Unseen Realm, she who guards the gate to the afterlife, the patron deity of the Lucians of old. The Goddess of the Dead, Etro"

Aranea and Hotaru looked at each other, the gave a quick look at Stella.

"You are very knowledgeable, Chancellor," Aranea said,"Where did you learn all of that?"

"Oh, you know. The Lucians were nice enough to tell me about Her Grace when I asked about the origin of a painting back in Insomnia. Such a beautiful piece of art that was." Ardyn answered, "The Lady Lunafreya became interested in it as well once her conversation with one of the Kingsglaives came to an end."

{Destiny Islands: Beach}

With Tyler and Clarice behind him, Nilas kept pushing forward through the growing number of Heartless towards the settlement. He hacked at what he could as he ran, scoring some hits, though rarely anything more than a glancing blows. He crested a little hill to see the settlement, with locals running into the heart of the town, away from the advancing Heartless.

As the Heartless were about to cross into the town, the lead Shadows were blown back as a half sphere Barrier sprang into being, protecting the settlement from the Heartless.

Nilas slowed to a stop, staring at the sight. Did all other worlds have defenses like this? How long could this thing last? Maybe-

A Shadow jumping at the Neophyte's face snapped him out of his thinking in time to raise his blade in a block.

"Not sure what this is, but hopefully it's strong enough to hold till we get rid of these Heartless!" Nilas called out, counterattacking the Shadow he blocked.

He started running again, but circled and zigzagged to keep ahead of Heartless attacks while slashing at targets of opportunity.

{Destiny Island: Secret Place}

"Hmph, there is a difference in how I am using the Heartless, unlike other fools. Cornelius said, waving a dismissive hand at Culoris. "I keep them at a distance and point them at their target like one would direct feral creatures."

The Scientist eyed Culoris for a moment.

"But you may stay, if you wish." He conceded. "I may have some specific targets I could send you against."

Cornelius pulled out a tablet and keyed up a map to point out targets, but froze. The map showed a group of hostiles attacking the Heartless, and some sort of barrier keeping the Heartless out of the settlement.

"What sort of trickery is this?" The Feline Scientist growled.

{The Etro's Light: The Lanes Between}

The Etro's Light crept through the swarm of Heartless, trying to keep it's distance from the space fairing variants of the monsters. Stella noticed the affect the proximity of the Heartless were having on the team. She too it too. The smothering darkness. It put her on edge. But she had to keep it under control and keep the others strong.

"We may have to get out, at some point." She replied to Skylar. "Not entirely sure what we'll find at the heart of this."

Rubbing her arms from the cold, Stella noticed the ship was beginning to wobble a little. She glanced up at Reggie, seeing the old sailor was looking fearfully at his surroundings. The combined affect of the Heartless and Etro's power must be playing havoc on his nerves. She walked over and placed a hand on his shoulder.

"It's alright, Reggie." Stella said to him softly. "Just a bit farther."

Reggie's fearful look remained, but the ship did level off. Stella stayed by his side as the Etro's Light flew through the Heartless Swarm. As the continued on, Stella noticed the conversation Aranea, Hotaru, and Ardyn were having. She was impressed by the Chancellor's knowledge, and was particularly interested to hear about Eos's legends. She had feared she had severed Etro's connection to Eos, but she seemed to have retained some influence on the world.

"Up ahead." Reggie called out stiffly.

Stella narrowed her eyes to see what the old sailor had called out. In the gentle patterns the Heartless made up, up ahead there was what looked to be a more frantic holding pattern of space born Heartless around something, like moths around a flame. As the disguised Etro's Light came closer, glimpses of a spherical structure surrounded by structural rings at different angles could be seen. At the center of the sphere was a pulsing mass of darkness. The Heartless seemed to maintain a consistent distance from the station, like it was holding them back.

"And that" Stella said, looking at the modified Mirage Arena, "is our pressure point."

Deseo's jaw dropped as the structure came into view. It was like...a generator, but of Darkness, Heartless forming at its edges by the dozens. It was huge. Made out of metal and god knows what other dangerous and unstable material that helped with the creation of its core. Now he understood why, as he gripped the edges of the ship and gritted his teeth. It was a source. An endless, constant source of power and darkness. It wasn't even just the size of it, but the purity. Nothing before, nothing after, just an addictive darkness in unlimited amounts right there for the taking. If Deseo didn't have the control he did, he would have already been climbing overboard. "What in the living hell is that?" Deseo whispered, unable to keep his eyes off it for a second. The worst part; it was man made. Someone intentionally created this for this purpose, and had succeeded. He quickly looked over to Stella, then back at the structure, then back at Stella. "If that is our target...how are we going to destroy it? Are we going to destroy it? Or are we going to sneak inside? Can we even destroy that thing? With so many Heartless?" Deseo asked, one question after the other as he looked around. There were so many heartless surrounding it. A moving and live shield. Even if they attacked it from afar their aim had to be magical to hit the actual target. "There is a clean space in between the Heartless and the core...maybe we can traverse into it to get a closer look?" Deseo asked. He had traversed through groups of Heartless before, using darkness as a cloak to hide his heart and reach to safer places. Could the same be applied to this ship if he concentrated enough?

Culoris looked at the screen, and then at Cornelius. "It would seem Keyblade Wielders had already caught on to our scheme here, perhaps I can send back up to deal with them? If not, I could deal with them myself, what do you say?" Asked Culoris, asking Cornelius a question. Tyler was seen charging towards Heartless, and swinging his Keyblade around like how a samurai wielded a sword, cutting down several Heartless in the process. "There's no way we're letting you pass here!" Shouted Tyler, as he attacked the Heartless. Seracus looked on at the Heartless that was passing by, and looked on ahead at the Mirage Arena, leaning on a wall and folding his arms, simply smiling at it, and seemed to be deep in thought about something, but he shrugged off the thought, and kept looking on at the Mirage Arena.

"It seems that this is going to be an interesting day," Ardyn thought, "interesting indeed."

The Chancellor took a look at Stella and smiled. It was only a matter of time, she was going to slip sooner or later. What would happen later was a mystery he was eager to know.
Hotaru was staring at the arena, and the heartless around it. It looked like the place was a beacon, but something was keeping the creatures at bay.
"I wonder what is going on in there," Hotaru said to Aranea, "and why the heartless stay away from it. Do you think there is someone inside?"
Aranea stared for awhile. It was an interesting experience to watch that. But they would't know the real reason until they were close enough.
"Who knows," she answered, "I am sure we will find out one way or another."
