Well it's not a sequel, it just takes place after Coded.
Really nothing is revealed, it just denies pretty much every theory ever posted in this theory.

thank you! everyone keeps saying that its a sequel but the interview clearly states that it takes place after recoded.

yes i agree its just like with CoM it happends after Kingdom Hearts but for this one KH3D happends after Coded or for our case Re:Coded. I guess in some ways it is a Sequel you might or might not play as a data sora we wont know untill Normura gives out more info on it

I love how this game is mind ****ing us with its plot. Now the question we need to ask is not when it takes place exactly, but where it takes place. In the data world, or in the real world? Coded hints at what 3D's plot will be about, so I have a hunch that it has Sora/Riku or even both exploring
