Luke too his key card from Jynn while also being polite and saying "Thank you." He found this whole facility to be a bit more on the technological side then he has ever really been around. Luke also still was looking at the reaper with dead eyes that could pierce through even Grim.

Nurda already had her own card so she didn't need another one. She was just basically waiting for all the introductions to S.W.O.R.D. to be underway, while still waiting to help anyone who might need help.

Grim watched in awe as the cards were created for them. The more he ended up exploring this place the more fascinating it ended up becoming. He had seen standard technology, such as cellphones, cars, normal things. But these were much more advanced than what he had seen before, and it still impressed him. Grim took the card from Jynn, thanking him as he looked at it curiously. He would make sure to keep it on him at all times. He could still feel Luke staring at him, and as much as he decided that it was best to ignore it, he also felt bad about it. He knew why he was angry. He remembered. Hell, he remembered everything. Every death. Every name. Every soul. He didn't even have to be there. It would flash trough his mind like a recording. Even now, it happened. "You can speak your mind, Luke." Grim finally said, turning to look at him with a soft smile. "Or ask me questions...your anger is as clear as glass, you know."

Luke looked at Grim, but said nothing to him. Luke wasn't about to let his anger out, not with everyone nearby. Plus, Luke just honestly was so angry at Grim that he just didn't want to speak to the guy anyways. But Nurda chimed in to Grim in a whisper, "Grim, don't get him started, it's better to avoid what he can turn into. If anything, just let him do his own thing, and maybe he might cool off later on. I , myself, in no way trust you, but Luke straight up hates you and death itself. There's a big difference there, it's best you don't get him started, at least not yet." Nurda told the reaper.

"Anger against death is a lost cause you know." Aya spoke up towards Luke, taking her card from Jynn as Veran took his as well.

Aya approached Grim, Nurda and Luke.

"Death is a natural thing that will happen to everyone eventually, even to someone like Veran." Aya gestured to him.

"I prefer not to think about death though." He added in, as the last time Veran was killed...it wasn't exactly the most peaceful death ever.

"I'm not saying I'm on Grim's side or anything, sorry Grim, but nobody here will die unless the timing and situation abides them too. I know that for a fact." Aya winked towards Nurda, veering off with Veran striding behind her elegantly.

"Well, aren't you mysterious?" Seth teased Aya. "I like the way you think!" Seth grinned at Aya, her calm, elegant demeanor contrasting with her bold look... and something else. Experience? Nonchalance? A front?

Turning to Nurda and Luke, Seth continued off of what Aya said. "She's right, ya know. Stressing about something you can't control?" Seth shrugged "It's hard to let go, I know, but what is it you're holding on to? The valuable memories will make you stronger." Seth clenched a fist, quietly, then held it out towards the two in a friendly gesture. "Agreed? Think about it."

Luke didn't want the rest of the group thoughts about death, all he cared about was that his lost has driven him to a whole new person entirely then what he once was. Nurda once again looked at the group, "Guys, seriously, you don't know the whole story, except for Grim, Luke, and I." Nurda said to the group. Luke finally chimed in, "Guys, don't get me started, the last time I was, I couldn't stop. You don't yet understand the whole story, or what comes out of it, so nicely just stop, let's just continue with this whole S.W.O.R.D. thing so we can save the world, and we can walk away as unlikely friends, or whatever." Luke said as he just wanted everyone to stop before he couldn't control himself again.

Jynn attempts to end the conversation. "Alright, alright! Enough of this nonsense about death. Nobody is dying under my watch, alright?" Jynn is becoming very disgusted with the group's incompetence with one another. "Look at the bunch of you, arguing like a bunch of teenagers. No faith, no courage, no RESPECT for that matter. You guys think this is how a group works together, with none of those characteristics? I'll tell you one thing, if you guys wish to DIE easier, just keep on doing what you're doing now. I'm sure none of you guys want that do you?" He pauses. "Look, what I'm trying to say is that we need to at least TRY to work together, and if you don't think you can do just that, there's the giant-ass door!" Jynn then faces the door that just opened. "Now, for those of you who wish to give it a try, follow me." He then walks through the door. It was hard for him to become this way, but he knew that if he didn't, there would've been no chance of defeating the enemy.

Nurda followed Jynn, but also made a slight comment to him, "Umm, you realize some of us are still teenagers, right?" Nurda said to counteract Jynn words about them acting like teenagers. Nurda didn't say anything else after that, however, because she knew not to press that many buttons with Jynn.

Luke looked at the group, now getting upset by Jynn's words, he didn't need to be here, he chose to be here, so the least these people could try and do were to be lay off him, before they make him totally angry. He just continued after Jynn not even saying a word.

Grim watched as everything and everyone chimed into the conversation, at least until Jynn spoke out to put an end to it before it got out of control. What he said spoke truth. Trust was important for cooperation, and right now, trust was the least thing that any of them had in mind. They were all simply strangers wary of one another and making sure that they themselves got out of this alive. This would be a long journey, in more ways than one. "Right behind you, Jynn." Grim said, his eyes looking over at Luke with a saddened expression. Of course. Mortals were complicated beings. He would simply have to let them act as they pleased, and wait to see what fate awaited for them all. He must never forget why he was here in the first place. To fix the clock that had been settled for humanity, and keep it from coming to zero all too early. He followed Jynn, looking back at Jynn and keeping his scythe against his shoulder.

"Okaayyy, that's the mood we're going for, got it..." Seth mumbled to himself.

Seth dropped his hand and continued walking, assessing the situation. He was right - there was no need for fights. No one was fighting, really from what Seth could tell... but Nurda and Luke seem to have a very painful history. Yet, Seth didn't decide to question Jynn's rashness - he was right after all. Whatever threat was bothering S.W.O.R.D. had Trey shaken up, and Seth knew no one more grounded than him. Seth sighed... it was gonna be hard to get used to the new recruits but... he was willing to try.

Or if anything, he'd find the money to get his own corner wherever the lab was.

Jynn ignores Nurda's complaint and keeps moving on. As he passes through the door, he turns to the group. "Welcome to S.W.O.R.D Headquarters." The room was gigantic with computers everywhere. A man then approaches the group. "Thank you for gathering the recruits Jynn and Nurda." It was the director of S.W.O.R.D, Enceladus. Jynn turns to everyone. "This is the director of S.W.O.R.D. Enceladus." Enceladus takes a quick glance at everyone, but closely examines Grim. "Hmm. Seems like a decent bunch of recruits. I would love to sit and chat, but we need to get started right away."

Seth looked across the room to director of S.W.O.R.D., as Jynn introduces them to the him.

Empanada... Enchila-wha? Seth pondered over the man's name, scratching his head in a bit of dismay. He wasn't particularly good at keeping record of names...

Looking around the room itself, Seth nodded and commented "Hmm... no welcoming party here. Kinda disappointing, considering the fancy lights you've got out there." He pointed to the door to illustrate. Seth jammed is hands in his pockets, and nonchalantly spoke. "So... Let's get started."

Grim nodded his head at the director. "Nice to meet you, Enceladus." Grim spoke. Though he didn't reach his hand out for any sort of handshake. Most people don't like touching someone who's as cold as a corpse. "The faster we get started, the faster we can try and get this situation under control before it becomes out of hand...what would be the plan, exactly, sir Enceladus? Where do we start?" Grim asked. Of course, he was anxious, or at least felt similar to such emotion. He worried. The clocks had yet to be fixed. He could still see them counting down to a much too early end.

Nurda nodded to the director, "No problem, sir." Nurda said with a smile. Then Enceladus said that they had to start already getting down to business, so Nurda looked at the director and the group and just nodded in agreement. "Yes, and I'd say the faster we get things done, the faster we don't have to see each other again." Nurda said looking at the end to Grim. She wanted nothing more than to get things done so he would leave everyone alone.

Luke looked at the director. The director wasn't anything special on looks alone, as Luke has seen better looking leaders during his travels. "Well, let's get started then. Sooner, the better." Luke said just wanting to end Io's evil and then depart from these people, as the only one who seemed to understand him was Nurda, the rest of the group were trying to act like he could just move past his feelings, past his rage, which was something that just wasn't possible, as if he were to let out his anger, it would swallow him whole.

~Xing, Jac and Nami~

Xing knocks the door as he opens it. He looks at them and chuckles nervously. "Hey, Jynn. Sorry for the wait. Me, Jac and Nami were getting some lunch." He said. He sighs while continued. "We would of come sooner. ... if Jac didn't break the steering wheel. And crashes the car." He glares at Jac. Jac panicked while Xing was still mad at him. "C'mon, Xing! It was an accident! I didn't mean it to crash Mr. Long's car, honest!" Xing rubs his forehead. "I'm not sure how Uncle Zens is gonna to this." He said to Jac. Nami goes to Jynn and the others. "I'm really sorry about their behavior." She apologized, while bows to them politely.

Nurda looks at the three who just came in. She then laughs at the interactions between Xing and Jac. Then she looked at Nami, who was apologizing for their actions. "They sure do that a lot from time to time." Nurda said as she has met these guys before the story began. Nurda then walks over to Xing and Jac. "Now, now, come on boys. There's a time and place for that type of interaction, no need to argue in here, as we already had enough of that ourselves. Now come along, we were just about to receive our first missions." Nurda told Xing and Jac. She felt like sometimes they could be a handful, but they meant well and they were friends at the end of the day, so Nurda knew that the two could easily stop for a few moments.

Luke looked at the newcomers, or was he the newcomer to them, either way, he noticed that they had a sort of bond that he has seen before. He was reminded by a few of his past friends who acted the same way, and a girl who was caught in the middle of his past friends relationship as well. He wondered for just a moment what his past friends were up to now, it's been so long since he last saw them, but he knew he wouldn't be ready to face them, not until he could return to his previous self.
