Brooms appear in both Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II as housekeepers of Disney Castle. They are constantly working and are too busy to talk to Sora and company. They are found in Disney Castle's Library in Kingdom Hearts II, and can only be seen in a cutscene in Kingdom Hearts. They also appear in Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, but seem to act like security, shown when they capture Pete.

Journal entries

Kingdom Hearts

Enchanted brooms with a life of their own. They tidy up, maintain the gummi ship, do house repairs, wait on others--just about anything useful.

They swept onto the screen in "Fantasia" (1940).

Kingdom Hearts II

The Sorcerer's Apprentice (1940)

King Mickey cast a spell on these brooms and turned them into hard workers. They clean and help maintain the Gummi Ship, and do just about any other necessary work.

Story

Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep

In Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep, the Brooms are present to capture Pete by the orders of Queen Minnie to banish him to another dimension.

Kingdom Hearts

In Kingdom Hearts, the Brooms appeared when Donald is walking down to the audience chamber.

Kingdom Hearts II

Other appearances

Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance

A January 2012 V-Jump magazine issue has revealed the brooms to return along with a new world, Symphony of Sorcery. Mickey, in his attire from The Sorcerer's Apprentice, is shown working magic on the brooms.

Appearance

The brooms are besom brooms with brown handles and yellow bristles. They have been animated by magic, and have sprouted thin, brown arms and four-fingered hands as a result. Their bristles are their "legs". The brooms are constantly seen carrying one brown bucket of water in each hand. Each bucket has a silver handle and two silver hoops around them.
