Kingdom Hearts
Defeated once by Hercules, he received new powers from Hades and resurfaced. His body is made of large blocks of seemingly impregnable ice. But the ice shaping his face is quite fragile. Naturally, he is weak against fire.
He shook the scene in "Hercules" (1997).
Kingdom Hearts Re:coded
A glacial giant who haunts the innermost reaches of the Olympus Coliseum labyrinth. Any one of his ice attacks poses a titanic threat; combine those with high Defense, and you've got one tough opponent to melt. Hit him with everything you've got!
Story
Kingdom Hearts
The Ice Titan is the sole contender in the Gold Match. Sora takes the Ice Titan on by himself and manages to take down the giant. In the Final Mix version, Sora also gets the Diamond Dust for his troubles.
Kingdom Hearts Re:coded
The Ice Titan is the last of the four sources of the bugs in Olympus Coliseum, and resides deep within the Keyhole, on Layer 30. Together, Sora, Hercules, and Cloud are able to defeat it and fix the world's bugs. The Ice Titan is only fought when choosing the option to do 30 layers.
Appearance
The Ice Titan is a gigantic, emaciated, humanoid being that is, true to its name, composed entirely of ice. It has fairly long arms that end in clawed, four-fingered hands. Its icy ribcage is always visible, and its upper back is lined by tall spikes. Its head is rather small in comparison to the rest of its body. Its blocky mouth is filled with sharp teeth, and its eyes are small and barely visible.
It has a spiky crest decorating the back of its head and cheeks. Its upper legs are very thin, while its thicker lower legs are frozen to the ground, forcing the Ice Titan to constantly break and regenerate them to walk. The Ice Titan is actually a very small being of ice, not even reaching Sora's knee, but it is able to grow very large in order to tower over its opponents.
Origin
The Ice Titan's name references its frozen body, while "titan" is derived from the Titans of Greek mythology, which were loosely represented by the Ice Titan and its companions in Hercules.
