Drawn by Tetsuya Nomura, this artwork depicts Young Xehanort holding an umbrella, reminiscent of the artwork the character received in 2022 during the Dark Road Q&A. A brief message accompanied this visual as well, thanking fans for their continued support and noting that the development team is working hard for the upcoming 25th anniversary. During today's Nintendo Direct, Square Enix announced that the Kingdom Hearts games are all coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on October 8, 2026. Owners of the cloud editions on Nintendo Switch can port their save file over to the Nintendo Switch 2 version, and in addition, a bundle called the Kingdom Hearts Collection [I~III], which contains all the games, will also go on sale at the same time.
